But that does not mean the Knicks are walking into a buzzsaw. I feel the way New York has a chance to beat this team is by being a high efficiency juggernaut in the halfcourt, exploiting mismatches wherever they can find them.It starts with Brunson. Expect him to attack off the dribble and try to engage Wemby. If Wemby sinks too far, Brunson will hit a ton of 3's. The key is for Brunson to be so convincing that he wants to shoot it on his drives that Wemby has no choice but to rotate and help. That directly opens up shots from all over the floor once Wemby is out of position. And the scorers and shooters around him ensure the Knicks can punish what the Thunder could not.Their secret weapon is KAT in the high post, an action the Knicks did not figure out until after these teams played in the regular season. Expect them to get a lot of use out of it. That pass against the double team is just wicked.Rather than go away from Wemby, they will try to get him up into the pick and roll and bring him out away from his Box and Wemby zone. If they can do that, they will get shots at the basket and create offensive rebound opportunities. This is the film breakdown you need before Game 1.
