Cal QB Jaron Keawe-Sagapolutele | 2026 ACC Football Returning Attractions

When new Cal head coach Tosh Lupoi took over the job with the Golden Bears, one of the first things that he did was make sure that quarterback Jaron Keawe-Sagapolutele would be returning to Berkley for his sophomore season. Keawe-Sagapolutele had one of the most promising freshman seasons from any quarterback in the Power 4. He threw for over 200 in all 13 games for Cal. He also got better as the season went along, with his three 300-yard games all coming in the final four games of the season, and he did not record an interception in any of those final four games either. Cal brought in two experienced senior wide receivers in Ian Strong and Chase Hendricks to help JKS and Cal take a step up in 2026.
