What a start to the competitive season: RB Leipzig secure a dominant 6-0 win away at Eintracht Trier, comfortably booking our place in the next round of the cup.

Brajan Gruda puts RBL ahead after just 121 seconds, setting a new club record for the fastest goal in the DFB-Pokal. He overtakes Amadou Haidara, who scored after 137 seconds against Nuremberg in 2020. Shortly after, Willi Orbán (6') doubles the lead before a deflected shot by Ridle Baku is ruled an own goal by Gianluca Pelzer (45'+2) to make it 3-0.

The Red Bulls maintain full control after the break. Conrad Harder (76') finishes off a low cross from Rocco Reitz for the fourth goal. In stoppage time, Antonio Nusa (90'+2) rewards himself for a strong performance, before Ezechiel Banzuzi (90'+5) rounds off the six-goal victory.
