Nike’s NEW shoe: Apex

Introducing the first shoe in Nike’s new footwear construct: Nike’s Race Day System of Speed - the Apex.

We were most surprised by this shoe being zero drop! With 40mm of stack in the heel and forefoot. 192g in a men’s US10 / 152g in a women’s US8.

The addition of a double-stacked air zoom unit on the medial and lateral side of the shoe, a redesigned carbon plate and a reconstructed upper make this Nike’s most advanced expression of speed to date.

This shoe is specifically designed for those runners looking for the extra edge, racing at their limits and those who are serious about maximising their performance.

Available in January 2027 but keep your eyes out for Kipchoge at Melbourne Marahon who will be the first runner to wear them in a race.
