Wake Forest vs. Purdue: The Wake Forest Demon Deacons went on the road and took down the Purdue Boilermakers in double overtime behind heroics by quarterback Gio Lopez. Lopez called his own number twice in the 2nd overtime. Trailing by 6 points, Lopez muscled his way in for the touchdown and then converted the 2-point conversion with his legs as well to give the Demon Deacons the 38-36 win. For the game, the transfer QB completed 16-27 passes and had 284 total yards with 2 rushing scores and a passing touchdown. Carlos Hernandez caught 6 passes for 88 yards, including a huge 4th and 15 catch that set up the game-winning plays. Ryan Browne threw for 329 yards, and Fame Ijeboi rushed for 114 yards and 3 scores in a losing effort.
