Hubi Kos Makes Return to NCAA, Shows Out at Eddie Reese Showdown

Hubert Kos made his return to competing for the Texas Longhorns after focusing on international competition in the fall. The NCAA record holder had a busy weekend. Notable Event Results: 100 back: 44.48 (#6 in the NCAA this season) 200 back: 1:38.14 (#1 in the NCAA this season) 200 IM: 1:40.69 (#3 in the NCAA this season) Kos is the NCAA record holder in both backstroke events after winning the 100 in a 43.20 and the 200 in a 1:34.21 at the 2025 NCAA Championships. He competed at all three stops of the World Cup in the fall.
