‘I hate watching them, they don’t entertain me in the slightest’
It was a tale of two quarter-finals last night in the Champions League, as Bayern Munich beat Real Madrid 4-3 (6-4 on aggregate) in a topsy turvy thriller whereas, in London, Arsenal huffed and puffed their way to a 0-0 draw with Sporting, winning 1-0 on aggregate.
They have reached consecutive semi-finals for the first time in their history but, since the turn of the year Mikel Arteta’s men have been accused of having a negative style of play, and it could be argued that it wasn’t easy watching for Arsenal fans and neutrals alike at the Emirates.
