Halo Territory hosts Mike DiGiovanna and Mark Trumbo examine the possibility of the Angels poaching a top executive from Milwaukee or Tampa Bay to head their baseball operations department, the folly of the owners' Tuesday proposal to the players union, and the potential prices for free agents the Angels could pursue. DiGiovanna also pays tribute to former LA Times baseball-writing colleague Ross Newhan, who died at age 89 on Oct. 25.
