At the start of the match, the Leningrad players immediately demonstrate excellent play in all elements, forcing the Moscow players to make a large number of mistakes – 8:2. The yellow-and-black players perform well in the reception and, as a result, in the attack, dominating by the middle of the first set, and Valeria Romanova repeatedly confirms her status as one of the main scorers for Leningradka, scoring five attacks out of eight passes (14:7). Dinamovki continue to play unevenly, and they are unable to cope with Anna Melnikova's serves, resulting in the central blocker earning a third point from a serve - 19:11. In the end, the "blue-and-white" team wins back five balls in a row, but another powerful attack by Valeria Romanova from St. Petersburg ends the set - 25:19.

In the debut of the second game, on Anna Melnikova's serves, the girls from the banks of the Neva take the lead, and Anna herself leaves no chance for the opponents, forcing Arkady Kozlov to take a break – 7:4. The "blue-and-white" try to put up resistance, but the well-coordinated play of the "yellow-and-black" stops all the attempts of the guests: Valeria Romanova and Daria Malygina score one after another (13:8). Natalia Goncharova, who entered the court as a Dynamo player, immediately scored two points in the attack, slightly reducing the gap between her team. The Muscovites respond with powerful shots from Irina Kapustina, not only tying the score, but also taking the lead – 20:21. In the final stages, the teams are tied point for point, exchanging spectacular blocks and equally confident attacks, but two unfortunate mistakes by the hosts prevent them from winning the second set – 24:26.

The beginning of the third set is played in an equal struggle – 5:5. The rivals fight for every ball, demonstrating a huge desire and delighting the fans of both teams, maintaining parity by the middle of the set (11:11). On the serves of the central blocker Angelina Lazareva, the Muscovites take the lead, earning a two-point advantage (12:14). Leningradka makes a double substitution: Anastasia Garelik and Yesenia Mishagina appear on the court, called to improve the percentage in attack. Dinamo's players are gaining momentum, effectively playing on the net, and maintaining their lead at 16:19. The Wild Bees are on the chase, with Valeria Romanova delivering a strong attack, Olga Yurieva making a precise shot from the fourth zone, and Anna Melnikova completing a "zone" combination, resulting in a tie at 20:20. The game is coming to an end, and the battle is back in full force. The visitors are more accurate and consistent, leading to a final score of 23:25.

The beginning of the fourth set remains with the Dinamo players – 4:8. The St. Petersburg players respond with a well-coordinated first-tempo game from Anna Melnikova and Mina Popovich, who appeared on the court, and level the score at 13:13. By the middle of the set, the blue-and-white players are confidently playing on the block and in attack, increasing the score difference to three points (15:18). The heroine of the next games is Anastasia Garelik from Leningrad, who not only plays great on the net, scoring two balls in a row, but also defends well. At the end, the Muscovites do not slow down, celebrating their victory in the set and the match – 21:25.

The most productive player for Leningradka was Valeria Romanova, who scored 19 points. Anna Melnikova scored 17 points. Natalia Goncharova scored 17 points for Dynamo.
