CAAD14 Dream Build I CAADASTROPHE
For Marcel, every build starts with one thing: statics and proportions.
The CAAD14 isn’t about forcing modern components onto a frame or chasing trends. It’s about reading the bike correctly — understanding its tube shapes, scale, and stance — then building a complete riding machine that respects those fundamentals.
From the oversized down tube to deep wheels, an aero chainring, and an aero cockpit, every choice is deliberate. Proportions lead the build. Nothing is added just because it’s available.
Placed beside an older CAAD, the visual connection is obvious — the red frame, yellow logos — but the deeper similarities sit in the details. Matching Campagnolo groupsets across eras, shared components, consistent brand choices, and carefully considered parts create a dialogue between two bikes separated by decades.
