Uralochka-NTMK brought a reduced squad of 11 players to Krasnoyarsk, without their leaders. Head coach Mikhail Karpol did not attend the game, and Alexandra Ivanova took charge of the match.

However, Uralochka refused to let them get closer, and in the second half of the set, they made a significant comeback, scoring 22:12. In the final moments, Yenisei managed to regain four set points, but the deficit was too great to attempt anything more, resulting in a 17:25 score.
The hosts started the fourth set better, 4:1, but immediately lost their advantage, 4:4. By the middle of the set, Yenisei had created a lead, 14:9. After a timeout, Uralochka gave chase, blocking their opponents three times in a short period, 14:15, and soon equalized the score, 16:16. The visitors also took the lead with a block, 19:18, and Nikolai Vakhrushev called for a timeout. After the break, the Siberians organized a set, and then made a breakthrough with Kostina's serves, which resulted in an ace and two passing balls - 23:19. As a result, the Krasnoyarsk team was able to force a tiebreaker - 25:20.
The beginning of the fifth set was played in an equal struggle – 3:3, and then the guests took the lead – 6:3 and 9:4, raising everything in defense and scoring set points. Nikolai Vakhrushev used both time-outs in a short period of time, trying to slow down the opponents. However, Uralochka was already unstoppable – Pavlova was scoring points in the attack, and Nikitina made another ace – 13:6. As a result, the Sverdlovsk women managed to win the match without any problems – 15:7.
