Houston vs. Notre Dame: The Notre Dame Fighting Irish fought hard but lost a tough one against one of the best teams in the nation in the No. 3 Houston Cougars, 66-56 at the Players Era Championship in Las Vegas, NV. Markus Burton led the Irish with 19 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists in the win. Freshman Jalen Haralson added 14 points on 4-8 shooting from the floor for Micah Shrewsberry's club. Emanuel Sharp scored 17 and Milos Uzan scored 15 to lead the Cougars in the win.
