Fighting Elephants With Drones || Carel Verhoef

Robbie is joined by Carel Verhoef, a photo tourism operator in the Serengeti area of Tanzania. After learning to love the world of protecting humans from human-wildlife conflict, Carel came up with a groundbreaking strategy to use thermal imaging drones to push elephants away from human habitation and crops. While not a hunter, his pragmatism is infectious and he puts some nuggets of wisdom out there on the reality of what is happening on the ground in Tanzania. Robbie stubled across Carel on LinkedIn where he posts incredible thermal drone videos of his team and their work in Tanzania. Please follow Carel on LinkedIn and if you have the desire to help, Carel is always looking for help to raise funds to purchase more drones.
