The opening set was an intense war as Nakhon Ratchasima fought in front of their passionate home crowd, refusing to back down against one of Asia’s strongest clubs. Every rally felt like a final point, but NEC stayed calm under pressure and stole the set 25-23 in dramatic fashion.
From that moment, NEC began taking full control.
Led by the explosive Sylvia Nwakalor and tournament MVP Yoshino Sato, the Japanese champions dominated with powerful spikes, incredible floor defense, and relentless counterattacks. Nakhon continued to fight with heart and determination, but NEC’s speed and precision became overwhelming as the match progressed.
