Utah is playing a hybrid zone against Jokic and it falls apart in the worst possible way. Nurkic has to come all the way across the midline just to dissuade the post entry, and once that ball gets in he's stuck holding instead of sinking. George inexplicably sprints to half court towards Tyus Jones and just leaves Brown standing there for a free layup. Can you hear me shaking my head?
This is exactly why Jokic was willing to throw that ridiculous sideline pass. He'd seen how the Jazz were guarding him and his teammates the entire quarter, mismatch after mismatch. Svi gets screened off by Nurk and never sees the pass coming. Thank goodness Cam hit the shot, because if it doesn't fall, nobody's talking about this pass at all. #shorts
