Virginia Tech right-handed pitcher Brett Renfrow was selected 74th overall in the 2026 MLB Draft by the Minnesota Twins. Renfrow has a 27,7% strikeout rate in 2026, striking out 88 batters in 73.2 innings, and for his career, he has 250 strikeouts in 222.2 innings. His fastball sits at 94 miles per hour and occasionally touches 97. He also has a cutter-slider hybrid pitch that is in the mid-80s and a curveball in the low-80s.
