SEC Road Trip: Nashville Tennessee

The SEC Road Trip presented by @campingworld takes us to Nashville, Tennessee, home of the Vanderbilt Commodores!

Nashville is known for country music and Broadway, but there’s so much more to Music City! Cousin Shane is exploring the food, history, local culture, and college football atmosphere that make Nashville one of the most unique destinations in the SEC.

We kick things off at the famous Parthenon in Centennial Park, where we explore the incredible 42 foot statue of Athena, the Greek goddess of wisdom and warfare. Outside, we discover the Tennessee Craft Fall Fair, checking out incredible local artwork and grabbing a fresh fruit and granola bowl from the food trucks.

Next, we’re heading to the legendary Loveless Cafe, a Nashville institution famous for its homemade Southern cooking and world famous biscuits!

From there, we explore Nashville’s popular 12 South neighborhood, stopping at The Filling Station for some local craft beer before kicking off Saturday morning with breakfast tacos at Ladybird Taco.

Finally, it’s GAME DAY at Vanderbilt University! The remnants of a hurricane put a damper on the traditional SEC tailgating atmosphere, but that didn’t stop us from making the most of our Nashville experience as the Vanderbilt Commodores hosted the Ole Miss Rebels!

From historic landmarks and legendary Southern food to SEC football, we’re discovering what makes Nashville special!
