Eileen Gu stunned the world at Beijing 2022, landing a never-before-attempted 1620 on her final run to win gold in Women’s Freeski Big Air. It was the Olympic debut of the Big Air event, and Gu made history by stomping one of the most difficult tricks ever performed in women’s freeski competition.

With ice-cold composure and unmatched aerial skill, the 18-year-old became the first freestyle skier to win three medals at a single Winter Olympics — including gold in Big Air, gold in Halfpipe, and silver in Slopestyle.
