Ilya Kazachenkov (born January 30, 2001) is a Russian volleyball player, a diagonal player for Lokomotiv Novosibirsk.
Ilya Kazachenkov comes from a sports family. His mother, Svetlana Kazachenkova, was an athlete, and his father, Alexey Kazachenkov, was the captain of the volleyball team Phoenix from Smolensk, which played in the second league. To pursue their passion for volleyball, the family moved to Moscow. Ilya began training at the Victoria sports school under the guidance of N.S. Borodiychuk.
At the age of 14, he moved to Novosibirsk.[1] His parents took him to an audition with Petrov, a well-known coach of the youth team, who had previously trained Kazachenkov Sr. in Smolensk. From 2015 to 2019, he played in the youth and senior teams of the Novosibirsk team. In 2020, he joined the main team as a middle blocker. In the 2021/22 season, he played for Dynamo Chelyabinsk, which competed in the A League. Upon returning to the team, Ilya switched to the role of a diagonal player.
