Jacob Bridgeman's approach shot on 18 impressed the crowd at Riviera Country Club. Bridgeman failed to birdie putt on the green, which would have put him at 20 under entering the final round on Sunday. The course record is 20 under set by Lanny Wadkins in 1985.
