Wake Forest vs. Stanford: In a defensive battle, the Stanford Cardinal outlasted the Wake Forest Demon Deacons at home, 55-43. Nunu Agara got things started on the right foot for the Card, scoring 15 of her 27 points before halftime. Agara finished the game shooting 9-17 from the floor to go along with 9 rebounds, a block and 2 steals. Hailee Swain was the only other Stanford player to score in double figures, finishing with 10 points. The Cardinal held Wake to a season low in points scored and forced the Demon Deacons into shooting 29% from the floor. Alexandra Eschmeyer was a force on the defensive side of the court and finished with 6 blocked shots. Caitlyn Jones and Mary Carter paced the Deacs with 11 points apiece in the loss.
