ESPN has released its ranking of the best players in the NBA, and Giannis Antetokounmpo comes in at 5TH overall behind Nikola Jokic, Victor Wembanyama, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Luka Doncic.

But is Giannis really the 5th-best player in the NBA?! 🤔

On today’s episode of Miami Heat Talk, we’re breaking down ESPN’s ranking and discussing why Giannis’ combination of dominance, two-way impact, playoff experience and defensive ability deserves serious consideration when debating the very best players in basketball.

We’ll also talk about the players ranked ahead of Giannis, whether Luka and SGA belong above him, the Wembanyama conversation, and what this ranking could mean for the Miami Heat as the Giannis-to-Miami conversation continues to dominate NBA discussions.
