Peterson at 19 already reads ball screens like a vet. Watch him scan for the roll pass, see the corner isn't spotted up, then hit the screener with a hard jab set just to manufacture separation. The threat of his drive alone gets two defenders staggering backwards before he ever rises up for the long two.
What I love most is he never forces the extra pass just to look pretty. He probes, takes what the defense gives him, and when they load up to stop him, he still finds a way to create the superstar shot plus the and one.
Wagler is a different story, but there's real substance there. He reads the pick and roll well, uses his height to see over the top, and that one handed skip pass to the corner out of the ghost screen is a legit NBA level read. His burst off the dribble is the swing skill to watch, but the feel and the resiliency are already there. #shorts
