The Proton volleyball players started the match with great confidence: they set several blocks on Anastasia Zhukova, and Varvara Sergeeva attacked with the first tempo. After a timeout (1:5), the Krasnodar club regained their composure. Thanks to the effective play of Ekaterina Evdokimova and Maria Bogovskaya, the Dinamo players narrowed the gap to 5:7. Yuri Marichev called his team to a break, after which the game was under the control of the hosts. With their strong serve, the Saratov players knocked their opponents out of the game, which was immediately reflected on the scoreboard – 16:11, 21:13, and the final score of 25:18. Ekaterina Gerashchenkova distinguished herself in the set.

In the second set, Dynamo improved its attack performance and reception, but Proton still held the lead. The team successfully blocked the Krasnodar attackers' approaches to the net. Sergeeva, Khristina Vuchkova, and Natalia Seliverstova contributed to the team's offensive efforts. Elizaveta Tomashevskaya also scored a point. The visitors responded with attacks from Maria Bogovskaya, and Maria Vorobyeva, who came on as a substitute, also added to the intensity of the game. In the middle of the game, the score was almost equal – 14:13. Yuri Marichev took a timeout, after which Proton took the lead again. Two aces by Anna Kotikova brought confidence – 21:19. In the end, Proton had four set points, one of which was converted by Gerashchenkova, as in the first set.

The third set was played under Proton's full control. The Saratov team continued to break down their opponents' set-ups, leading 7:2 and 18:9. As a result, Dynamo was only able to occasionally respond with their own attacks. Proton, on the other hand, delighted the audience with their precise play, led by Seliverstova and Gerashchenkova. The match was ultimately won by Kotikova, with a score of 25:15.
