It's a blockbuster in New York in the Final of the US Open where Ben Shelton will play No.1 seed Alexander Zverev seeking to become the first American male champion since Andy Roddick in 2003. It has been a long time coming for the Americans and after an all american semifinal against Frances Tiafoe, Shelton is the one with a date with destiny. Can Zverev live up to his seeding and make amends for his loss in 2020 in the final or will he not seize another huge opportunity presented to him without having to play Alcaraz or Sinner to win the title?
