The Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games are right around the corner, and the Propulsion Swimming Podcast is kicking off a brand-new Home Nations preview series! First up: Team England.
We are joined by British swimming veteran Max Litchfield as he prepares for his second Commonwealth Games. Max opens up about the tough lessons he learned as a debutant at the 2014 Glasgow Games, how he handles the quick turnaround between major meets, and why the rivalry between the Home Nations brings out a completely different racing environment compared to swimming for Team GB.
After the interview, we break down the Team England squad. We discuss the heavy expectations on Adam Peaty as he faces one of the deepest breaststroke fields we've seen, Freya Colbert’s massive 200m Freestyle clash with the Australians, and Oliver Morgan's chance to make a major statement in the 100m Backstroke. Plus, we highlight breakout stars like Amelie Smith and Gabe Sheppard, and finish off with some very bold predictions for the English Para-swimmers and relay teams!
Make sure you are subscribed so you don't miss tomorrow's preview of Team Wales!
