FC Cincinnati head coach Pat Noonan called the club’s recent struggles a “collective concern” following Wednesday night’s 5-0 loss to the Philadelphia Union.
“Mentality can be a lot better,” Noonan said. “Our last two performances show that. I don’t put it on just players. This is a collective concern.”
FC Cincinnati has lost two straight matches by a combined score of 9-0. Noonan also pointed to the team’s lack of discipline after Obinna Nwobodo received a red card and Evander picked up a yellow card that will suspend him for Saturday’s match against Charlotte FC.
“Another instance where we can’t get out of our own way with discipline in how the game looks,” Noonan said. “So, bad night, and we’ll see how we respond from this.”
