GIANNIS TRADE DECISION BEFORE THE DRAFT?! Miami Heat MUST GO ALL-IN NOW!

MIAMI HEAT FANS… THIS JUST GOT REAL.

In a recent interview, Milwaukee Bucks owner Jimmy Haslam revealed that the organization plans to make a decision on Giannis Antetokounmpo’s future BEFORE the NBA Draft — and that changes EVERYTHING for the Miami Heat.

I’ve said this multiple times on Miami Heat Talk… if the Bucks are truly considering a trade, it HAS to happen before the draft so Milwaukee can maximize draft compensation and potentially gain another 2026 first-round pick.

Now here’s where things get interesting for Miami.

If the Heat somehow jump into the TOP 4 of the NBA Draft Lottery, I personally believe the conversation changes completely. At that point, Miami could potentially land a future franchise cornerstone and may no longer need to gut the roster for Giannis.

BUT…

If Miami stays at pick 13, Pat Riley absolutely has to explore this opportunity.

And honestly? The Heat may have one of the BEST trade packages available in the entire NBA.

Tyler Herro gives Milwaukee an All-Star caliber offensive player and a hometown star from Wisconsin who immediately keeps fans invested.

Kel’el Ware is a young athletic center with enormous upside who could become part of the Bucks’ next era.

Nikola Jovic is only 22 years old, fits salary-wise, and still has major developmental upside.

Then you add:
• Three future first-round picks
• Two pick swaps
• Potentially Jaime Jaquez Jr. if bidding gets aggressive

That is a MASSIVE package.

But if Miami is giving up THAT much…

Giannis cannot be the only player coming back.

The Heat should push HARD to include Bobby Portis in the deal.

Bobby Portis would be the PERFECT Miami Heat player:
• Toughness
• Rebounding
• Physicality
• Energy
• Spacing
• Heat Culture mentality

This is the type of move that could instantly throw Miami back into championship contention in the Eastern Conference.

The question is…
