Fernandes and Tel Motor Spurs Past Chelsea | The Originals

Chelsea 0-2 Tottenham reaction: Spurs silenced Stamford Bridge with a win Jim calls "a turning point of trust" with De Zerbi. Jim, Johnny and Si on Mateus Fernandes' man of the match performance, Mathys Tel's goal, and whether Spurs fans can finally let go of the past.

Si talks through the emotions of watching Spurs control a game at Stamford Bridge, and explains why Fernandes at the base of the midfield is where it all clicked. Jim argues Tonali has raised the floor and Fernandes has raised the ceiling, and that this is now one of the best midfields in the league. Johnny makes the case for Tel, the forgotten man who never stopped running, and why the rest of the team should take a pop more often.

Then it's the members' questions. Sean asks whether we should drop "his best XI" from the lexicon. Roston asks what's surprised the panel most about De Zerbi, and whether Spurs fans carry old disappointments into every new situation. Jonathan asks if fan anxiety is holding the club back, and Jim's answer is that trust is earned, not given. Liam asks whether the slow start was actually the best thing that could have happened, and Mr Pipe asks the big one: can Spurs qualify for the Champions League and win the FA Cup?
