Audrey Derivaux had a vintage performance last week at the US Nationals, winning numerous events in the 18-and-under category and qualifying for the Jr Pan Pacific Championships in a whopping 5 events: 100 fly, 200 fly, 200 back, 200 IM, and 400 IM. It is notable that once qualified, swimmers can swim any event they choose at the meet itself. After winning the 200 Fly, Derivaux spoke with the media about her expectations heading into Jr Pan Pacs as well as her decision to join Texas in the fall, a year before she was originally scheduled to.
