In its 1100th game in the Russian championships, Belogorye took revenge on Dynamo-LO, securing a victory for the anniversary and fifth place in the preliminary stage.

The guests started with young libero Ivan Vasni, who played the full match and performed well against a strong opponent.

Dinamo were good in defense and on the back-up, and Belogorye made too many mistakes in the first set. The Sosnovobortsy went ahead right away – 6:2. They could even make “+5”, but Pavel Tetyukhin closed Osniel Mergarejo – 3:6. It was not easy for the Cuban and Denis Biryukov in the fourth zone, but Roman Murashko pulled in the diagonal. The “lions” had Mohamed Al Hachdadi in order. Gradually, Belogory pulled themselves together and Ivan Yakovlev's ace tied the score at 13:13. There were chances to take the lead, but the block and defense of Dynamo-LO extinguished the Belgorodians' attacks. The ace of the guests' captain returned the lead at 16:19, but only for a few minutes, as Yakovlev and Tetyukhin tied the score at 19:19. Another serve, this time by Mergarejo, gave the blue-and-white team a new break – 23:21. Al Hachdadi first missed the blocker's fingers, and on set point, he hit the antenna – 23:25.

Belogory tried to make fewer mistakes, which paid off in the second set. The visitors made a lot more mistakes. Now the hosts are leading from the start – 5:2, 9:5. The Lions kept their opponent at a distance, and made a decisive breakthrough at 18:16, scoring 3 points in a row – 21:16 after a triple block on Murashko. When the Dynamo's diagonal hit was softened, Al Hachdadi's free throw sealed the deal – 25:19.

In the third set, Belogory transformed 3:6 into 9:7. Yakovlev's and Al Hachdadi's series of serves became a challenge for the visitors. Mergarejo was down, but Sergey Chervyakov was not reaching the floor, and Alexander Zakhvatenkov was scoring all the points. Murashko's Moroccan colleague responded to Murashko's attacks, the Belogorye captain increased the percentage of sales, Yakovlev regularly replenished his personal account, and Yaroslav Podlesnykh rarely but accurately acted in the four. Georgy Zabolotnikov was no longer on the court in this game, and Alexander Melnikov added aggression to the serve. His error-free streak left Dynamo-LO without a proper refinement and first tempo. The blocking player of the Lions ended the match. Alexander Klimkin tried to replace Dmitry Kovalev with Egor Krechetov and Zakhvatenkov with Dmitry Kolenkovsky. Both teams played well on the net and sometimes performed miracles in defense, but in the battle of skill and nerves, Dynamo-LO managed to survive only half of the match. The last time Dinamo was ahead was after Chervyakov's attack, with a score of 12:11. Al Hachdadi scored twice, leading to a score of 13:12, but Biryukov's shot went out of bounds due to the rope, resulting in a score of 14:12. This was enough for the Lions to maintain their lead. Although Murashko was still in good form for Dinamo-LO, and Mergarejo finally started scoring regularly, it was not enough to turn the tide. Roman Poroshin conducted the attack well. Tetyukhin lifted Chervyakov's shot, and Podlesnykh increased the lead to 16:13. Next, he blocked the guest captain – 18:14, and made 20:15 with an ace. The last two plays for Belogorye were like a copy: Tetyukhin's serve left Dynamo-LO without an attack, and Yakovlev finished off the opponent – 25:19 and a 3:1 victory in the last home match of the regular season.

Mohamed Al Hachdadi became the best scorer of the match with 20 points. Ivan Yakovlev scored 18 points, while Pavel Tetyukhin scored 14. Roman Murashko scored 15 points for Dynamo-LO, and Osniel Mergarejo and Denis Biryukov scored 11 each.
