LeBron's post-up numbers actually rank him 30th out of 31 qualified players last season, and I think that's exactly why this move to Philly could work.⁣

His footwork down there hasn't developed much since Miami, the turnaround fadeaway over the right shoulder is still the go-to, and the efficiency just isn't special. But that was never really the point of him posting up more.⁣

He did it because he was sharing the floor with Luka and Austin Reaves and needed a way to stay involved without hijacking possessions. Now he's got Embiid, Maxey, and Jaylen Brown who all deserve the ball more than him on any given possession, and I expect the post to become his way of staying a threat while making everyone else better.
