Week 6 Dantabase Top 25 & Weekday Games Preview & Picks

The College Football Experience on the Sports Gambling Podcast Network continues its Week 6 college football picks with Colby Dant and Ryan McIntyre doing the Dantabase Top 25 and the weekday games preview in one show, plus Troy Chewning jumping in on a few bets.

Will James Madison make the playoff before Florida? Is Wyoming the right fit for Mike Gundy? Is Penn State the worst of the bunch after giving up 415 rushing yards? Does Alabama deserve No. 1? Can Sam Houston hang at Liberty? We talk it all and more on this episode of The College Football Experience.

The Land Down Under opens the show. Ryan McIntyre picks UCLA to make the playoff before USC this year, says North Dakota State gets there before Nebraska and calls Oklahoma in the Red River Shootout the biggest foxhole spot of the week. Biff Poggi gets the nod as the best Michigan coach of the last 16 months, Ryan McIntyre and Troy Chewning both land on Wyoming for Mike Gundy, and in the 41-7 blowout round the clearest firing is Lincoln Riley if Penn State blows out USC.

In the Dantabase Top 25, Colby Dant has Alabama at No. 1, with Notre Dame over Miami at two and three on the strength of a tougher home schedule. UCLA sits fourth ahead of Texas because of its two Power Five road wins, which starts a real argument with Troy Chewning, who calls Texas over Ohio State the best win in the country. Kentucky gets moved in at 22 on the fly, bumping Virginia Tech out, and North Dakota State lands at 14, one spot ahead of undefeated Nebraska.

The weekday card starts Tuesday with a triple lock on Troy -10.5 against Southern Miss. Both hosts take Kennesaw State +2.5 against Jacksonville State, Missouri State +2.5 at Western Kentucky, South Alabama +1.5 at Arkansas State and UTSA -7.5 over South Florida, which Colby Dant calls the easiest bet on the board. Troy Chewning pushes Sam Houston +350 on the first-half moneyline at Liberty and the over 58.5 in Florida State at Louisville, where everybody lays the 3.5 with the Cards.

There are fights too. Ryan McIntyre takes New Mexico State against Colby Dant's FIU -6.5, rides Wyoming +6.5 at San Jose State and backs Washington against Iowa +3.5. They meet back up on Utah State -5.5 against Wazzu and Iowa State +10.5 at BYU, with Notre Dame sitting on deck for the Cougars.
