The Cincinnati Bengals are back at Paycor Stadium on Sunday, and they could not have asked for a stranger lead-in. Tennessee comes to town at 1-6, fresh off trading its best player, All-Pro defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons, to Chicago on Thursday morning for a package headlined by two first-round picks. Four Pro Bowls, a five-time captain, the Titans' sack leader, gone just days before kickoff. On today's show, we break down everything Bengals fans need before Sunday.

We start with Joe Burrow, who is playing as well as any quarterback in football right now. Down 13-0 at halftime in Baltimore last week, Burrow went 16-of-18 for 249 yards and four touchdowns after the break, and the Bengals scored 35 unanswered points to win going away. He is the only quarterback in the NFL this season with four touchdown passes in a single half, and now he gets a Titans defense that just lost its anchor.
Then the injury picture, and Friday brought real news. Ja'Marr Chase is good to go after practicing in full Thursday and Friday. Kyle Dugger is out, and Joe Giles-Harris is questionable. For Tennessee, leading receiver Carnell Tate, running back Tyjae Spears, and punter Tommy Townsend are all doubtful. We get into what each means for Sunday's game plan on both sides.
We do not ignore the other sideline. Cam Ward, last year's No. 1 overall pick, is 1-6 with four touchdowns and five interceptions, but he keeps swinging, and had Tennessee in it late against a first-place Browns team this month. What does his growth look like now that he is the face of that franchise?
The betting line told its own story this week. The Bengals were 10-point favorites when the week opened, and the number kept climbing, reaching Bengals -12.5 by Friday afternoon, the largest spread of Cincinnati's season, with the total at 46.5. We talk through the matchups that decide it: a Bengals pass rush with 21 sacks against a Titans line missing Jackson Slater, Burrow against a defense missing its anchor, and Chase Brown against that reworked interior. Plus, the Madrid trap. The Falcons and a transatlantic flight are waiting next week, and the biggest remaining danger Sunday might be a letdown, not anything Tennessee added. Kickoff is 1 PM ET Sunday on CBS. !
