Who Will The Presidents Cup Captain’s Picks Be? Predictions & Preferences

Six qualifiers are locked for each side of the 2026 Presidents Cup, and Brandt Snedeker and Geoff Ogilvy reveal their captain's picks tonight (Tuesday, September 1) from 5-6 p.m. ET on Golf Channel. Smylie Kaufman and Charlie Hulme make their own six picks for each team ahead of the live reveal — both land on Chris Gotterup and Ryan Gerard, but split from there between development and proven experience.

Plus: discussing the International side — whether Casey Jarvis's PGA Tour experience is enough set against some great finishes this season, Jayden Schaper and Aldrich Potgieter as fliers, and how much more bench depth the U.S. has across ten Medinah matches than a top-heavy International side.
