The Reds selected left-handed pitcher Ethan Norby in the fourth round of the 2026 MLB Draft, and he has a chance to become one of the biggest steals in the entire class.
Norby put together an outstanding college career and established himself as one of the top strike-throwing left-handed pitchers available. His calling card is a devastating sweeper that many evaluators consider one of the best individual pitches in this yearβs draft. The pitch generates plenty of swings and misses and gives him a legitimate out pitch against hitters on both sides of the plate.
If the Reds can continue to develop his secondary pitches and build on his command, Norby has the talent to move quickly through the minor leagues. Landing a pitcher with his arsenal and upside in the fourth round could prove to be tremendous value for Cincinnati.
