The media constantly points to Tim Hardaway Jr. as if he is the ONLY legitimate three-point shooter on this roster. But when you actually look at the numbers, that argument starts to fall apart.

The Miami Heat have SEVEN players who averaged 37% or better from the three-point line last season, including Andrew Wiggins, Davion Mitchell, Simone Fontecchio, Nikola Jovic, Bobby Portis, and Tim Hardaway Jr. And the Heat also added second-round pick Ryan Conwell, who has already established himself as a legitimate three-point shooting threat.

Then you have players like Bam Adebayo and Pelle Larsson who are capable of knocking down threes as well.

So where exactly does this idea that Miami has “no shooting” come from?
