Can a Road Bike Beat A TT Bike?

Ahead of the Ironman 70.3 World Championship in Nice, there was a lot of conversation about whether a TT or a road bike is the better choice for a hilly bike course. So, we decided to put it to the test. Tom took on the course with the Canyon Ultimate and Heather used the Speedmax, both riding at the same power output.
What is the difference over flat and hilly sections and descents? Plus, we discuss other factors to take into consideration when choosing the best bike for you, including system weight, handling, and position.
