In this episode, Coach Jacob shows what a private swim lesson looks like for a 1-year-old inside a calm, safe, and fully supportive environment.
This lesson focuses on essential foundations such as comfort, supported flotation, body awareness, water orientation, and gentle submersions — all adapted to the child’s current stage of development.
During the session, trust is briefly lost — and more importantly, recognized. Coach Jacob adjusts his approach, slows the pace, and shows how rebuilding trust is a critical part of teaching babies to swim. Every interaction remains pressure-free and guided by the child, allowing confidence to grow naturally.
This video is part of an ongoing series where each episode features different children, personalities, backgrounds, and rates of progression, demonstrating how swim lessons are adapted to meet every child exactly where they are.
