NEW Orbea Orca Aero Race Bike Is Wild!

Thanks to Orbea for sponsoring this video, it really helps us continue to create these videos. This is the new Orbea Orca Aero race bike. It's been designed to be as fast as possible but crucially with the all-important rider on board, not just in the wind tunnel.

To get to this point, Orbea says it’s used every development tool imaginable, including in-house CFD testing, rapid prototyping to prove and keep improving the concept in the wind tunnel, controlled validation tests in the velodrome, and of course getting out in the real world to test it where it really matters with input from professional riders.

We headed out to Sierra Nevada to Spain's national altitude training facility to get a behind the scenes look at the development of new bike, ride it on some incredible roads and get an exclusive interviews from those behind the Lotto-Intermarché WorldTour team.
