2026-27 North Carolina Women's Basketball Season Preview

The 2026-27 ACC women's basketball season is quickly approaching and once again excitement for the North Carolina Tar Heels' campaign is reaching a fever pitch! Head coach Courtney Banghart and the crew are looking to build on the success of a year ago that saw them win 14 games and reach the Sweet 16. The Heels return 8 players from last year's squad, brought in four transfers from Power 4 programs and also bring in prized recruit Katie Harpring, daughter of Georgia Tech legend Matt. ACC Digital Network host Kelley Deyo sat down with Banghart, Nyla Brooks and Achol Akot to talk about the expectations at Carolina this season, how each spent their offseason and what fans can look forward to this year.
