Trailing by 2 inside 10 seconds to play, Amani Hansberry tipped in a missed shot to force the extra period that saw the Hokies pull away. Neoklis Avdalas poured in 33 points in the win, hitting on 13-23 shots from the field, including 5-8 from three-point range while dishing out 6 assists, pulling down 5 rebounds and recording a block and a steal in the win. Jailen Bedford added 18 points and Hansberry contributed 17 while Tobi Lawal finished with 7 points and 13 rebounds for Mike Young's club.
