Pitt started the game by scoring five 3-pointers and jumping out to a 15-6 lead over Penn State. The Panthers never looked back as they went on to an 80-46 victory over the Nittany Lions at the Giant Center. Roman Siulepa led the Panthers with 28 points on 10 of 16 shooting, including five of six from three. Omari Witherspoon added 15 points off the bench as Pitt shot 50 percent from the field and pulled away early, controlling the game from start to finish.
