ROB DILLINGHAM WAIVED! SHOULD THE MIAMI HEAT SIGN HIM?! 👀🔥

ROB DILLINGHAM IS AVAILABLE! Could the Miami Heat make a move for the former No. 8 overall pick? 👀🔥

The NBA offseason just gave the Miami Heat another intriguing potential opportunity. Rob Dillingham was waived by the Charlotte Hornets just one day after Charlotte acquired him from the Chicago Bulls. Dillingham was originally selected No. 8 overall in the 2024 NBA Draft and is still only 21 years old.

In this episode of Miami Heat Talk, I break down why Dillingham could be an interesting player for Miami to consider.

The Heat currently have their training-camp roster filled, but Miami could potentially create an opening by moving on from one of its Exhibit 10/training-camp players. That could give the Heat an opportunity to take a closer look at Dillingham and see whether he could compete for a roster spot. Miami’s current training-camp/Exhibit 10 group includes Bez Mbeng, J’Vonne Hadley and Ian Schieffelin.

Dillingham spent last season with Chicago after being moved from Minnesota, averaging 9.6 points and 2.8 assists in 30 games for the Bulls.

So the question is:

Should the Miami Heat take a chance on Rob Dillingham?

Could Miami’s player-development system be exactly what the young guard needs? Could he provide another ball-handler and scoring option? And is it worth opening a training-camp roster spot to give the former lottery pick an opportunity?

We’re breaking ALL of that down in today’s episode!
