Ramirez was placed on waivers by LA Galaxy just before season started for salary cap reasons as the roster compliance deadline approached. According to Bogert, Austin FC will pay $225k of Ramirez’s budget charge this year, meaning he Is eligible to be bought down to the Supplemental roster.
Ramirez's current contract ends after the 2026 season.
