Cal scored on their opening possession of the 2026 season and took a lead over UCLA after quarterback Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele threw a quick screen pass to Chase Hendricks, and Hendricks was able to tightrope along the sidelines for a 9-yard touchdown.
