In a tie ball game with 10.6 seconds left in the game, North Carolina had the ball. Derek Dixon drove to the basket, and the Duke defense collapsed around him. Dixon then kicked the ball out to the opposite corner to a wide-open Seth Trimble, who buried the three-pointer to give North Carolina their first lead of the game with 0.4 seconds left. The corner three-pointer by Trimble was the game-winning shot and is the CPI Security: Securing The Win play of the game.
