A special story about Cincinnati Reds 2026 top draft pick Justin Lebron and his younger brother, Jayden.
Jayden lives with Williams syndrome, a rare genetic disorder that can affect brain development and physical health. He underwent open-heart surgery at just two years old.
Reds Director of Amateur Scouting Joe Katuska said Justin has been “instrumental in looking after him.”
Jayden is one of Justin’s biggest fans and inspirations. Lebron has also honored his younger brother by wearing custom cleats featuring Jayden’s portrait.
The Reds selected Lebron, a shortstop from Alabama, with the No. 18 overall pick in the 2026 MLB Draft.
