The first set was played very confidently and composedly by the Zarechenki, with minimal mistakes. At the beginning of the set, Bogumila Byarda was the main attacking force, and her attacks immediately put the hosts ahead – 6:1. The Tula players were not prepared for such a strong offensive. In addition to their good offense, the Zarechenki also had a good block – 16:9. Towards the end of the set, Elena Mladenovic, a newcomer to Zarecheniye-Odintsovo, made a double substitution. By that time, Konstantin Ushakov's team had already gained a significant advantage, with a score of 19:10. In the final, Yulia Brovkina scored the first goal, and Byarda completed the scoring with a 25:18 score.
The second set also started with a lot of mistakes – 1:5. A small surge in the game of the Tula team happened closer to the middle – 10:13. But a series of excellent serves performed by Victoria Burkova again made the hosts almost unattainable – 18:10. It is also worth noting the clear play of Nadezhda Stolyar. Zarechenki continued to demonstrate an excellent team play, while Tulitsa could not reduce the number of mistakes in their game. The set ended in a natural victory for the home team, 25:18.
In the third set, the Zarechenki team relaxed and allowed the guests to have a successful start, leading to a 2:7 score. The host team faced difficulties in receiving the ball. However, Alexandra Mamedova regained her form and started scoring points, and the Tula team managed to block a few attacks by the Moscow-based team. After two time-outs by Konstantin Ushakov, the hosts came to their senses and caught up with their opponents by the middle of the set – 14:14. The teams entered the final set on equal terms – 19:19. It was clear that the volleyball players from the Moscow region were making more mistakes than in the first two sets – 21:24. Victoria Burkova's serve gave the Zarechensk team a chance to finish the match in three sets – 23:24. However, they were unable to overcome their opponents in the decisive moment – 23:25.
In the fourth set, Zarechye regained the lead – 15:9. However, there were some rough spots, and a series of unsuccessful actions by the hosts allowed the guests to get closer – 15:13. Byarda, however, was unstoppable in her attack, assisted by captain Olga Biryukova, and Stolyar's ace came in handy – 20:13. Tulitsa didn't have the strength for another comeback, and the hosts didn't allow themselves to relax again – 25:17.
