Kai Winkler had some big swims this weekend in Indianapolis, notably cracking the 51-second barrier in the 100 fly for the first time (50.92). This also meant he broke the first German national record of his career, dipping under the long-standing 51.19 set by Steffen Deibler in 2013. Winkler commented that he's made some big changes in the weight room, which he thinks have translated well to the pool.
